By the time he left the building, anyone who was anyone had heard what
‘The Lion of Anacostia’ had to say, which in short, was this:

ALL PEOPLE ARE EQUAL

Frederick Douglass spent his life trying to prove those words could be true
and made quite a name for himself doing it.

As a boy he got the letterbug. (Before he got the jitter-bug).
As a man he took his command of language and influenced Presidents.

Definitely another hero.
