Toussaint Louverture - "The Opening"

As heroes go, this man took things a few steps further.

He was born into slavery. He was freed at the age of 33 and educated himself, taking a particular interest in the outstanding nature that would surround him on his Caribbean homeland.
He believed in equality and ethics.

Toussaint battled with the biggest and the best, and his example led the way in achieving independence for Haiti.

The man is a legend.
