Every year during August Bank Holiday Weekend - the last Sunday/Monday of the month - around 1 million people descend upon a small part of West London.

This is NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL!

Masquerade, Steelpan bands, Calypso, Soca and the Static Soundsystems help to make Carnival a unique event, enjoyed by people of ALL backgrounds.

Brownbaby worked with hundreds of young people from the area, to brighten up a stretch of Carnival Street!

The Southam Street Carnival mural is a collaborative project between Brownbaby and four local primary schools.

The 50 metre (150 feet) stretch of Carnival Street has been dedicated to the work of almost 200 young people with the assistance and guidance of local artist Toby Laurent Belson.

Over 150 children visited Toby's Art Studio to mix colours, print babies and paint hundreds of beautifully coloured portraits.
